CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Late Bloomer Productions is available for classes and workshops. Each session can be customized to fit the needs of the group attending or to a desired theme and/or subject. Please contact LBP for scheduling and proposal estimates.

Previous Late Bloomer Clases have included:

Lights, Camera, Action at St. Regis School, Montana (July 2006)

Students helped to profile characters, write a script, develop a shot list, prepare props and equipment, and edit in-camera. Each student received a DVD copy of in-class exercises and the final short film. This introduction to film and video gave students materials and hands-on experience in learning the basics of film production. Each participant was bale to focus on an aspect of production that they were interested in, from acting to management, to special effects!

Late Bloomer Productions is a Portland, Oregon-based independent film production company started in February 2005 by multimedia producer Wendy Jo Downing. Since then LBP has produced many great short narratives and documentaries. We also handle event and media planning, and have delved into teaching classes and workshops.
